About Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin, also published as TH9507, is catalogued here as: GHRH analogue, growth-axis research. Studied in adults with HIV-associated abdominal fat accumulation for imaging-measured visceral fat and hormone changes. Tesamorelin is described as an analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), also called growth hormone-releasing factor (GRF). It prompts the body’s own growth-hormone signalling rather than being administered growth hormone, which is why IGF-I is measured as part of the studied response.
